Brno, Aug 9 (BD) — At a meeting on Wednesday, Brno City Council chose a contractor for the work on the building. The cost will be partly covered by subsidies from the national government’s Integrated Regional Operational Program (IROP).
Renovation of the building will include loft renovation, planting of greenery in the yard, and the construction of an elevator. On the five floors above ground, there will be 22 flats, including studio flats and “3+1” flats, as well as one commercial space – a loft studio. Residents will be able to move in by the end of 2020.
According to Oliver Pospíšil, Deputy Mayor for housing and property management, the renovation will be carried out by IMOS Brno for less than CZK 48 million, excluding VAT.
